The Hotel staff was very polite and helpful, Everyone from the Front Desk to the Restaurant. They accommodated our early checkin request. Although they don't have a travel desk, but were able to provide a Taxi operator (Surya). The the cab driver (Palani) was also very helpful and acted a tour guide. We comfortably visited temples in Madurai, went to Rameswaram and Dhanushkodi without any issue. The food at the hotel was also delicious and we enjoyed the buffet and a la carte menu. The rooms were also very comfortable. So, after a tiring day we slept like a baby :)

The room was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. Plenty of storage. The shower room was well lit with a powerful hot shower. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, giving us advice on getting around the city. Good laundry service. Breakfasts catered for our European tastes and the food at dinner was delicious. A good location for picking up an autorickshaw to the temple and other sights. There is nothing that we could fault about the hotel and staff. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we're staying with Astoria (post 2023) We also extended our stay in Madurai so stayed here for 2 nights The staffs are friendly and helpful The food is okay, could be improved If you are a traveler we suggest that you explore the Madurai city and try dinner or lunch outside Facilities are good and room is adequately spacious

So close to airport and Meenakshi temple it took us only 5mins to reach the south gate of the temple on Auto rickshaw. Staff were so helpful and best customer service. This is the best property in Madurai if you going for holiday or visit temple or for business trip.

Bfast and Lunch was tasty and served hot . Polite , helpful waiters / manager . Location is excellent to visit Meenakshi temple close , yet away from crowded lanes and market . Easy available of autos . Well lit corridor and lot of windows giving natural light .

The staff demonstrated great hospitality. They are professional and customer friendly. The dining was also great. Love the pongal, Gobi 65 and Veg Kadai, they have. I appreciate their dedication, to achieve customer satisfaction. It's been an overall pleasant experience at Astoria Hotels.
